Who we are.
Native Nation BV (“Native Nation”, “we”) is a social-first creative studio at Harensesteenweg 224, 1800 Vilvoorde, Belgium (VAT BE 0651.632.241). We are responsible for the personal data we process through nativenation.eu.

What we collect.
When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, company and message.
When you apply for a job, we receive the details and files you send us, such as your CV, portfolio and links.
When you visit the site, we collect usage data such as the pages you view, your device type and your approximate location, through Framer’s built-in analytics.

Why we use it.
We use your contact details to answer your question or prepare a proposal. The legal basis is our legitimate interest, or the steps needed before a contract.
We use application data to assess your application, as a step before a possible employment contract.
We use analytics to understand how the site is used and to improve it, based on our legitimate interest. We never sell your data and we don’t use it for automated decisions about you.

How long we keep it.
Contact requests: up to two years after our last contact, unless we start working together.
Job applications: up to one year after the vacancy closes, so we can reach out about a future role. Ask us and we’ll delete it sooner.
Analytics: only in aggregated form, without identifying you.

Who we share it with.
We only share data with partners that help us run the site, and only as far as needed: Framer (website hosting, forms and analytics), Behold (shows our Instagram feed on the site) and our email provider. They process data on our instructions.
Some of these partners may store data outside the EU. When they do, they rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. Mail hello@nativenation.eu and we’ll reply within one month.
If you believe we don’t handle your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (www.dataprotectionauthority.be).
